Vysa-Bond™ ULTIMATE is a single component, universal polyurethane adhesive with good gap filling properties and a fast reaction time developed for bonding Vysa-Pron™ MAX thermal insulation sheets to sub-floor surfaces. Vysa-Bond™ ULTIMATE is D4 waterproof to EN 204 without the addition of hardener. The adhesive has been produced to provide two distinct benefits when installing Vysa-Pron™ MAX thermal insulation for use with electric underfloor heating systems:
Rapid curing. Enables installation of the heating mats within 15~20 minutes of bonding the Vysa-Pron™ MAX thermal insulation sheets to the sub-floor. The work can continue without delay and the installation can be completed the same day confident in the knowledge that the bonding will be 100% secure.
An excellent bonding strength on wood and concrete. Vysa-Bond™ ULTIMATE enables Vysa-Pron™ MAX thermal insulation sheets to be bonded to a variety of different wood and construction materials, plasterboard, concrete, insulations and, ceramic tiles.
We recommend Vysa-Bond™ Ultimate adhesive for carpet grippers if you wish to bond the carpet gripper strips to a Vysa-Floor™ free floating sub-floor in accordance with current regulations. Nailing carpet grippers to concrete sub-floors is to be discouraged as services are increasingly being buried in the concrete sub-floors.
You can use Vysa-Bond™ Ultimate to bond Vysa-Mat™ heating mats or Vysa-Cable™ to a concrete sub-floor if additional fixing is required.
