Accidents sometimes happen and a heating cable can be damaged during installation or perhaps later.

Possibly by the Tiler's trowel or punctured by the plumber's drill or screw when fixing a wc pan in place?

Sometimes by the electrician too.

The Vysa-Mat™ Cable Repair Kit is an accessory that you should never need. The repair kit comprises various components necessary to effect a repair to a damaged heating cable

1 x cable (500 mm long)
4 x crimp connectors
2 x heat shrink tubing (3mm dia x 25 mm long)
2 x heat shrink tubing (4mm dia x 35 mm long)
2 x heat shrink tubing (8mm dia x 100 mm long)

Please Note: Repairing a damaged heating cable is not a simple or straightforward job and should only be be undertaken by a competant qualified person - (per Part P of the Building Regulations)
